Travels and Adventures in SE Africa by S.E.Selous. A third edition published in 1893 (same year as first edition.) by Rowland Ward and Co. An orange cloth cover with gilt illustrations of lions on the front and black and white lettering and a gilt illustration on the spine. The cover shows light wear. Quite a number of the pages are unopened and this is reflected in the way the pages are very clean with no toning. There is a coloured map which is also very clean just before the index. The book has many black and white illustrations. There is a small loss on the edge of one page. A very good copy obviously only partially read if at all.
