The Year's at the Spring. An Anthology of recent poetry, compiled by L. D'O.Walters and illustrated by Harry Clarke. It features numerous poems from writers such as G.K. Chesterton, John Masefield, W.B.Yeats and many others. A hard-cover, vellum, limited edition, number 45/250, signed by Harry Clarke.  On the free-front page there is a gift dedication from  Louise Dyer (Australian publisher and patron of the arts) to Will Ashton (Australian artist and director of NSWAG) dated October 4, 1925. This was published by George Harrap in 1920. The book is in very good or better condition. The vellum covers show some slight soiling and the gilt is sharp and bright. Some minimal bumping to cover edges. There is a previous bookshop label on the inside of the front cover. The gift inscription as described is on a toned free-front page. The top page edge is gilt and the other edges are rough cut. The pages are thick with some occasional slight rippling and there is also some occasional light foxing. Some foxed tissue guards are present over many of the very clean (12 full page) colour illustrations and the there are also some superb black and white illustrations (12 full page).
