The Violet Fairy Book edited by Andrew Lang. A "New impression" published in 1913 by Longman's, Green and Co. The cover and spine are,of course, violet with slightly faded gilt lettering and illustrations. The hinges are slightly loose but holding well. The text-block edges are gilt. The book has some minimal scattered foxing. There are seven colour plates and numerous black and white illustrations. a very good copy.
