The Tour of Doctor Syntax, in Search of the Picturesque: a Poem. Written by William Combe and illustrated by Thomas Rowlandson. Illustrations hand-coloured. Undated but presumed 1813. Rebound in modern brown cloth with some soiling and of course new end-papers with a very good, tight binding. The book has light browning throughout with light foxing. The foxing is more apparent on the preliminaries. The colour illustrations are still bright and clean with some light browning on the clear margins. It will be insured for postage.
