The Poultry Book by W.B.Tegetmeier. Illustrated by Harrison Weir and printed by the Leighton Brothers. Published by George Routledge and Sons in 1867. A red cloth cover and spine with gilt decorations and lettering, largely poultry and some embossing. The gilt is slightly worn. there is some light wear to the edges and some light soiling. The spine is neatly rebacked. The end-papers have been replaced and there is some slight soiling and foxing scattered through the book.The colour illustrations are all present and bright. There are some marks non ann early brown but blank page. The binding is tight. Overall a very good copy.
