The Miracle of Our Lord, illustrated by Noel Humphreys, 1848. Published by Longmans. Black papier mache cover with some losses on the corners (slight) and the base of the spine (see photos). There are some faint cracks on the edges of the cover.The edges of the text-block are gilt. There is some browning to the free-front page and the remarks at the end which also show some slight possible water stains at the top of the pages. The illustrations (chromolithographs) are bright and clean and the binding is tight with no loose pages. This is a very good copy. It will be insured for postage.
