The Lady of the Lake by Sir Walter Scott.

This was published by Edward and Charles Black in 1869.

It has new end-papers. The cover the distinctive is Mauchline tartanware with a picture of a castle on the front. The cover is in very good plus condition with some slight scratches present. There is a gilt edge to the pages. There is light foxing throughout with rippling of one page with a photo. All albumin photos are present. They are tipped in with one partly detached. The spine has gilt lettering and embellishments.

This is a very good copy with a special binding.
