The Great Sieges of History. A new edition with the "Siege of Paris'. An undated hard-cover published by George Routledge but believed to be 1871. The red cloth cover and spine are spectacularly decorated with gold and silver gilt and some blue on a shield on the front. The cover shows some slight wear and minimal soiling and is remarkably bright. The preliminaries show foxing most obvious on the title page shown in the photo.  There is some foxing to the text block edges most apparent on the top. There is some minimal foxing scattered thoughout and a small pencil mark on the page margin of page 32. The colour illustrations are all present and clean ( some foxing on the margins of one).
