The Grammar of Ornament by Owen Jones. Published by Bernard Quaritch in 1868. A large (350x250mm) hard-cover book. Bound in red-brown cloth with bevelled edges. Bright gilt lettering and decorations on the front, slightly less bright on the spine. Shows some general light wear and soiling including to the top and bottom of the spine but still in very good condition. Yellow end-papers. There is some very light scattered foxing and toning.  A previous owner's name is on the free-front page and there are a few small pencil annotations next to some plate numbers. The complete set of chromolithographs are clean and vivid in colour. The binding is tight. This is a very good plus copy overall.
