This is a first edition (no date) from 1910 probable second printing. It was published by Hodder and Stoughton. It comes in its original soiled box. The book is in near-fine condition. There is minimal wear to the cover. There are some small pen marks and a previous seller's label on the front paste-down. There is a gift inscription on the free-front page dated 1910. There is some foxing on the text-block edges. The illustrations are vivid and clean and the binding is tight.
 
No doubt the uncommon original box has kept this book in near fine condition. It will be insured for postage.
