The Gods of Pegana by Lord Dunsany.
 
This was published by Elkin Mathews in 1905 as a first edition. The illustrations are  by S.H.Sime.
 
The book has brown boards with a cloth spine. There is black text and a black illustration on the front boards with black lettering on the spine. The covers are in excellent condition. The front edge of the text-block is deckled with some foxing on all edges. As usual there is some scattered foxing throughout.
 
This was the first book published by Lord Dunsany. It is the start of his many fantasy novels. The book is in very good condition.
