The Day of the Triffids by John Wyndham. This is a first edition, published in 1951 by Micheal Joseph. It is a hard-cover copy with a facsimile dust-wrapper which is in excellent condition. The green boards have some fading. The front and rear hinges are tender but holding. Page seven has a chip missing from the top left corner 1.5x3 cms. There is some very slight foxing on the preliminaries.
