Slight scuffing only on the cover. The spine shows more faded gilt. there is a small strip of professionally applied tap to the front and rear paste-down. There is a name-plate of John Cotton dated 1872 on the free-front page. There is some light foxing on the blanks with numerous clean vivid chromolithigraph illustrations. The binding s tight. a very good copy.
