The Alhambra by Washington Irving.
 
The drawings are by Joseph Pennell. It was published by Macmillan in 1896.
It has a classic (Cranford series) gilt cover against a green cloth background. The cover is in very good condition.  However, there are a few small areas of bubbling of the cloth on the back. The text block edges are gilt. There is some slight cracking to the gutter of the front. There is some mild browning and foxing scattered throughout. There is a previous owner's name on the free-front page.
 
Washington Irving has written a number of short pieces after he visited the Alhambra in Spain in 1828.
