Seymour's Sketches by Alfred Crowquill. This was published by Joshua Thompson as vol. 2 in 1838. This is from original drawings by Robert Seymour. It has a name-plate which is a coat of arms of Cornwell Baron Wilson an author on the paste-down. The book is worn. The cover is half calf and moire. The front has an angled crease which can be seen as a crack on the inside of the cover. The back of the cover is especially worn on the corners.The spine appears to be reglued and its attachment to the text block is assisted by some tape internally. The book is otherwise foxed most significantly on the blank areas. It is in fair condition only and I have listed it as it is both complete and has rather excellent illustrations.
