This is the first trade edition, 1st impression. There are 61 pages of text, 51 tipped in colour plates with captioned tissue guards. 5 b&w drawings in the text and dark green pages with plates and green edges to the rest. The top and bottom of the spine some slight fraying and the front board is very slightly bowed. There is some slight wear to the edges of the boards. There is some light foxing tom the text pages and some tissue guard. There is a previous owner's name and date of October, 1905 on the free-front page.
 
The colour plates are absolutely wonderful and enhance this well-known story. A very good copy.
