It is 320x210mms. The cover has a red cloth spine which is probably contemporary and the bottom front of the cover has some writing which suggests a small section of the cover may have been cut off at the bottom. Thereis some soiling and wear to the cover. The end-papers look new relative to the book's age. Underneath the half-tile there is some pencil writing and a delightful illustration of a rabbit. There are twenty pages of text in German followed by 30 double pages of illustrations of many animals. while there is browning of the pages, the illustrations are complete, clean and vibrant.
