Mother Goose with illustrations by Kate Greenaway, first edition, second impression. This was published in 1881 by George Routledge & Sons, with no date in the book
 
This has a lattice cover with a faded pink spine. There is an inverted "G" on the cover. On page 38, "8" is printed high. On page 25 there is an "m" inverted. The cover is soiled and toned. There are green end-papers. The pages are lightly toned with very occasional light foxing. The engraving and printing was by Edmund Evans.
 
The book is a lovely pairing of traditional rhymes with Greenaway's water colours. Overall a very good copy.
