L'Anatomia dei Pittori del Signore Carlo Cesio
 
This book contains sixteen beautifully engraved anatomical  plates. It is a  later German edition of this  instruction book for drawing the human body and anatomy, in particular the anatomy of the limbs.  It was translated from the popular work of Carlo Cesio (1626-86), by Johann Daniel Preissler from Nuremberg. It was based on Vesalian drawings.
 
The book is in a later, tight binding of gray cloth with light soiling and wear. The pages and their illustrations are in remarkably good condition. Other than some very light browning and soiling their condition is excellent. Then illustrations remain clean and spectacular.
