Indian Fables from the Sanskrit of Hitopadesa. Illustrated by Francis Iacomb and chromolithographed by W.R.Tymms. Tymms has his name discreetly placed at the bottom of the front cover. Published By Day and Son in 1863 (n.d.). The cover is green cloth with gold gilt decoration and lettering. A little faded and soiled with a few more apparent marks on the front visible in the photo and some wear to the edges.. The free front page and the following blank have a possible grease mark 15mm diameter. a few of the page edges show some wear and browning but the book and illustrations are otherwise largely clean and bright. A good copy plus.
