In the Key of Blue by John Addington Symonds. Published by Matthews & Lane, London and Macmillan & Co., New York in 1893. The cover is delightful gilt cover against a very light brown background. It was designed by Charles Ricketts and I suspect he has hidden his initials in a box on the front right hand side of the book. The front and bottom edges of the text-block are deckled. there is browning to the preliminaries and the deckled edges. the rest of the book shows somem light toning only. The binding is tight. A very good copy.
