A hard-cover published by Hodder & Stoughton in 1909 as a first edition.The  cover shows some fading and wear especially the top and bottom of the spine. There is light to moderate foxing throughout as usual. The foxing is more obvious on the as seen in the photo on the preliminary pages. The illustrations are clean.
 
This is another Nesbit fantasy novel. Is a sequel to "the House of Arden". It has lots of magic and time-travel in the plot.
