Good Night and Good Morning by Lord Houghton. The poem of Lord Houghton is accompanied with illustrations by Walter Severn. The book was published by Day and Son in 1859. The cover is maroon blind-stamped cloth with bevelled edges. There is gilt text and decorations with some colouring around the text. There is some slight wear to the cover and spine edges.The text block edges are gilt. The book shows some occasional slight soiling but the pages and illustrations are largely very clean with a tight binding.
The poetry is written on each page in red and blue text and is surrounded by a black and white illustrations and chromolithograph illustrations with vivid colouring.
A very good plus copy.
