This is a hard-cover with an uncommon dust-wrapper, published by Methuen in 1928. The dust-wrapper is browned and soiled with a diamond-shaped section removed from it as seen in photo. The book has light foxing throughout most obvious in the preliminaries as shown in the photo of the title page above.The edges of the text block are foxed (top edge gilt). The binding is very good.
 
It is in a protective non-adhesive polypropylene cover. There is a faint previous owner's name on the free-front pageand on title page.
