Gems of Nature and Art. Hard-cover published circa 1869 (n.d.) as a second edition and published by Charles Griffin and company. The cover is blue cloth with bevelled edges. There are black and gilt decorations on both the cover and spine with gilt lettering. There is slight wear to all the edges. There is light foxing throughout with brillianrt coloured clean pictures, by Benjamin Fawcett. The binding is tight. There a few small tears to the top of a couple of pages. All the pages edges are gilt. a very good copy.
