The cover and spine show some light wear and soiling. The end-papers are most colourful with a name-plate on the front paste-down. The name-plate is from G.K. Cowlishaw who among many things was a prominent Australian book collector. The text pages show some very light browning and the illustrations are vibrant and clean. There is some foxing to the preliminaries front and backand an 1892 birthday dedication on a bloank at the front. The binding is tight and the book is in very good condition.
