Cranford by Mrs Gaskell, illustrations Hugh Thomson. Published in 1907 by Macmillan with its stunning deep blue and gilt cover. The book has a very slight lean. The cover shows some minimal wear around the edges.The gilt is very bright and also present on the page edges. There is some browning to the end-papers but the pages are otherwise very clean and the tissue paper over the fronts-piece is present. A very good copy.
