This is a hard-cover with a dust-wrapper. It was published by the Publishing House of the Hungarian Academy of  Sciences Budapest and was translated by Eva Racz. It has many black and white photos and diagrams printed in red and five pages of colour plates.
 
The dust-wrapper has some small chips and tears. The front-cover shows some wear. The book is otherwise very clean with bright illustrations. The dust-wrapper has a protective non-adhesive polypropylene cover The photo was taken without this.
