The cover has very slight wear and minimal soiling.The spine has five raised bands and gilt lettering. All illustrations and maps are present. The two maps are present in volume one, in spite of a probable printer's error suggesting they are in volume two. Other than some slight browning and very occasional foxing the books are in very good plus condition. The binding is tight.
