A Round of Days described in Original Poems by Our Most celebrated Poets and in Pictures by Eminent Artists. Engraved by the Brothers Dalziel. Published in 1866 by George Routledge and Sons. A bright and elaborate cloth cover and spine.There is gilt and red lettering  with red and blue decorations. John Leighton's initials are subtly concealed on the front. The cover shows some light wear around the edges and at the top and bottom of the spine. The text-block edges are gilt.There is a previous owner's name in ink, dated 1867 on the back of the free-front page. There is largely light foxing scattered throughout but it is more obvious on the preliminaries. The photo of the title page shows this and is seen in other copies. The numerous, delightful illustrations are clean and the binding is tight.
