A Popular History of British Seaweeds by the Rev. Landsborough. Published by Lovell Reeve in 1857 as a third edition. A green cloth cover with a slightly faded gilt decoration and title. There is some light wear to the cover and bumping to the top and bottom of the spine. The pages are rough cut with their edges browned as usual. The illustrations are hand-coloured and at the top of each page there is a neat cursive written botanical name for each sea-weed. The fronts-piece is partly detached. There is some light browning and foxing scattered through the book. The colour in the illustrations is bright. A very good copy.
