There are numerous, delightful and clean, black and white illustrations. The cover shows wear, with some slight losses and bumping to the corners and edges. The spine has bumping to the top and bottom. There is evidence of a previous small label in the corner of the free- front page and the half-title page. The front page edges are rough cut and slightly browned. There is some very slight occasional soiling in the text but the book has has essentially clean pages with a good binding. A good copy overall.
